William Shatner Broadway Bound

He was just on Broadway a mere 50 years ago! Now William Shatner is headed back to the Great White Way for a one-man show,Shatner’s World: We Just Live In It.


According to the star’s promotional team, Shatner, best known for his varying roles as Cpt. James T. Kirk, T.J. Hooker and Attorney Denny Crane, will be taking audiences on “a wild ride through his life and career and singing songs as only he can.”


Shatner’s previous stints on Broadway included a minor role in 1956′s Tamburlaine the Great, after which he went on to star in The World of Suzie Wong and A Shot in the Dark in 1962.


Shatner’s World: We Just Live In It will begin previews on February 14th at the Music Box Theatre, with opening night following just two days later on February 16th. The limited run on Broadway will conclude on March 4th, with a 15-week national tour expected to follow.
