It has been known recently that international model icon Iman is creating her own collection of jewelry and accessories called “Global Chic.” The line is set to be launched on Saturday, December 15th at 8:00 pm EST and Sunday, December 16th, at 9:00 am and at 6:00 pm EST exclusively on HSN and on www.hsn.com.
Iman’s inspiration for these new pieces has come from her travels to countries such as Africa, India and Bali. Within the “Global Chic” Collection, there is a replica of Iman’s anniversary ring and the vintage engagement ring, both given to her by her husband, rock legend David Bowie.
Iman shares her thoughts about her new collection on the blog, The Bag Lady, saying:
“When I thought about doing the collection, I asked myself, ‘What must I have for me?’” Iman said. “I have a busy life. I need something that can take me from an evening out with a rock star to a PTA meeting to playing ball with the big boys in the cosmetics industry. And it always came back to accessories. They are the things that change a wardrobe immediately.”

“It is important to know fashionable accessory trends, but it is more important to know how to properly incorporate them into your world and your lifestyle. You are never fully dressed without them,” Iman said.
