Lancome Daria Collection

The Daria Collection of Lancome has officially been launched this week. The collection consists of an eye shadow palette, a lipstick and a lipgloss.

Makeupminute reports that the Daria Collection is a gorgeous blend of Brazilian earthy tones – it just makes you feel the sand between your toes, the air as it passes through your hair at the beach, the heat from the glistening sun.

Lancome is donating a portion of the proceeds from this collection to Centro Espacial Vik Muniz, an education program that supports arts education programs for young adults in Rio de Janeiro.

According to diunSA, this bold, new collection isn’t just dedicated to making women look good – but rather, to make them feel good too.

The color statement of the collection’s ‘Brazilian Earth Colours,’ is natural and sophisticated. Sun-kissed browns, natural nudes and warm golds naturally enhance the beauty of the face’s most sensual features – the lips and eyes.

The Daria Collection from Lancome is available for sale in online stores with a retail price of $45.

Iman’s “Global Chic” Collection

It has been known recently that international model icon Iman is creating her own collection of jewelry and accessories called “Global Chic.” The line is set to be launched on Saturday, December 15th at 8:00 pm EST and Sunday, December 16th, at 9:00 am and at 6:00 pm EST exclusively on HSN and on www.hsn.com.

Iman’s inspiration for these new pieces has come from her travels to countries such as Africa, India and Bali. Within the “Global Chic” Collection, there is a replica of Iman’s anniversary ring and the vintage engagement ring, both given to her by her husband, rock legend David Bowie.

Iman shares her thoughts about her new collection on the blog, The Bag Lady, saying:

“When I thought about doing the collection, I asked myself, ‘What must I have for me?’” Iman said. “I have a busy life. I need something that can take me from an evening out with a rock star to a PTA meeting to playing ball with the big boys in the cosmetics industry. And it always came back to accessories. They are the things that change a wardrobe immediately.”

In addition, Iman is also quoted on Miss Xpose, talking about the role of her new collection:

“It is important to know fashionable accessory trends, but it is more important to know how to properly incorporate them into your world and your lifestyle. You are never fully dressed without them,” Iman said.

Prices will range from $19.95 to $129.95, and you can also check the pieces out at www.tulsaworld.com/hsniman. With Iman’s impeccable style and beauty, we have no doubt that this collection will be truly exceptional.

Heidi Klum

Victoria’s Secret Supermodel and Cable TV hostess, Heidi Klum, is being sued by jewelry designer Van Cleef and Arpels. She is accused of stealing their clover jewelry design.

The suit was filed in Manhattan and damages to the amount of $25,000 are being sought from Klum’s company, Heidi Klum GmbH and Mouawad USA, a company for which she has designed jewelry for. According to Rightcelebrity, the suit claims that both of the companies “attempted to gain benefit from Van Cleef’s esteemed reputation by creating and selling a similar clover design from Van Cleef’s vintage Alhambra jewelry line.”

Hopefully everything will be sorted out for Klum in the future!
