We all know you want to look your best at the next party. Your crush might be there and you just want to be ready with the best pair of luscious lips. You have to get it right as Red lipstick is the trickiest one to apply. It can make you look like a Diva or a total disaster if not done right.
So, if we consume sixty minutes to look just perfect, why not invest good five minutes on your lips as they will be the dominant feature in your ensemble. Do not go loud with your eye make-up when wearing Red on your lips. Also, try and let your lips do the talking and not your dress so much. I would suggest a Nude number – It has a ‘Go for the Kill’ factor (If you know what I mean-wink*).

So, follow the image above and read on the steps below :-
1.) Wipe your lips with water or Rosewater and make sure you clean them thoroughly, don’t be harsh though.
2.) Apply a lip balm with SPF (translucent in colour) for healthy lips.
3.) The concealer you used on your skin, dab it all over your lips so that your colour is not compromised. But do not put in excess.
4.) Get hold of a Red lip liner pencil and start contouring your lips. Make sure you have precision with the shape. You can also extend it the way you want it to be – longer lips, pouty lips, fuller lips or sharp lips.
5.) Fill your lips with the pencil.
6.) Take a brush with a concealer and brush around the lips for a more dynamic look. Don’t go overboard.
7.) Coat it with your Red lipstick, don’t rub it just dab it and make sure the colour gets on.
8.) Optional : If you want a Red Carpet look just give a touch of gloss on your upper lip and lower lip but only in the middle points.
TIP – Never wear a lip gloss all over your lips.
Now go on – put your dress on – put your lipstick on ! Click pictures and post it here maybe.
